Cooking tips Ragi Mudde
Step 1: Take a pot, add water, salt (as desired), 1 tablespoon of Sri Bhagyalakshmi Ragi flour and mix well to remove any lumps.
Step 2:
Add the Ragi flour and stir well. Begin to cook on a medium flame the mixture begins to boil rapidly take off the pot from the stove and stir well.
Step 3: When the water is absorbed quickly by the flour and still looks soggy, bring the flour together to the centre of the pot, this helps to trap the steam in the flour.
Step 4: Back to the stove, cover and cook on a low flame for about 3 minutes without burning.
Step 5:Switch off the stove and leave it as it is covered.
Step 6:
When it cools down, grease your palms and roll it to balls.
Step 7:
Serve Ragi balls with your favourite gravy or sambar.
Ideal preparation time is about 20 minutes.
Ideal cooking time is about 10 minutes.
