Green Gram Curry Recipe

Cooking tips for Green Gram Curry
Step 1: Drain and pressure cook Green Gram/Moong with 1 cup of water and salt for 1-2 whistles.
Step 2: Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add urad dal, mustard, chopped green chillies.
Step 3: Add asafoetida and saute till dal turns a light brown.
Step 4: Add red chilli and curry leaves.
Step 5: Drain cooked green gram/moong and add to the pan, add salt and grated coconut and mix well. Cook till dry and water evaporates for 3 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes :

Ideal preparation time is about 1 hour.
Ideal cooking time is about 5 minutes.
